Prarallel Structure

A few days ago, I learned parallel structure in a class. This is one strategy for writing impressive essay, poem or something like that. If you read song lyrics carefully, you sometimes might notice repeated words or phrases. So this is the basic idea of parallel structure. Repeated words can add rhythm on essay or poem. What’s more you can emphasize what you really want to say by writing in out of repeated style. It means that reader can’t help but notice the only one thing that is written outstandingly. Then here is my example...not good, but this must have came from bottom of my heart surely...

"PEACE"
I have million reasons to eat.
I have million reaosns to run.
Why do you eat? Why do you run?
You have million reasons to sleep.
You have million reasons yo talk.
Why do I sleep? Why do I talk?
There are million reasons why we cry.
There is no reason why we save you.
PEACE

Comments:
Shun, I liked your definition of parallel structure and your poem. As a music lover, I'm sure you have noticed many songs that use it. Your poem was very artistic... it could be song lyrics!
